About the Artist

My name is Emma Flynn and I am a freelance Graphic Designer, Illustrator, and Photographer. I am a CGI Product Photo Designer at American Greetings Creative Studios HQ, and have been working there since September 2019. Outside of work, I am the Programming Director for AIGA Cleveland, where I help create and organize our monthly meetings and events.

I graduated from Cleveland State University in May of 2019 with a bachelors degree in Liberal Arts. I majored in Graphic Design and minored in Photography. I’m also a vans collector and love creating illustrations inspired by the brand.

I was a competitive swimmer for 17 years and received a Division 1 Athletic Scholarship for all four years at Cleveland State University. The main reason I chose Cleveland State was for swimming; I grew up racing in that pool, and swam some of my fastest races there. When I visited the campus for my recruiting trip during my senior year of high school, I realized I couldn't pass up the opportunity to train in one of the fastest pools in the country. I fell in love with the sport at the age of 5 and have been swimming competitively ever since.

I grew up on the west side of Cleveland in Rocky River and attended high school there. During my last few years of high school, I discovered my passion for graphic design and photography. I love waking up every day knowing I can do what I love.
